New Resource: Tigo TS4 Module Compatibility Tool

Summary
Tigo has released a new TS4 Module Compatibility Tool to help installers, EPCs, and system designers evaluate TS4 compatibility during project planning.
The calculator is available on the Tigo Downloads page and is designed to support equipment selection before installation by checking two key areas: electrical compatibility and mechanical compatibility.
What the calculator does
The tool includes two focused tabs:
1. Electrical compatibility
The electrical compatibility tab helps users compare PV module datasheet values against available Tigo TS4 product specifications.
Users can enter module and site-specific values such as:
- Pmax, Vmp, Imp, Voc, and Isc
- Temperature coefficients
- Expected bifacial gain
- Lowest recorded temperature
- Average hottest temperature
- Irradiance coefficient
- Required certification
The calculator then estimates corrected electrical values and shows which TS4 products are compatible based on the entered inputs.
This can help designers quickly narrow product options across TS4-A and TS4-X product families when specifying equipment for a new project.
2. Mechanical compatibility
The mechanical compatibility tab helps evaluate TS4 lead length requirements based on module dimensions and junction box configuration.
Users can enter module details such as:
- Module width and length
- Portrait or landscape orientation
- Junction box type
- Junction box location
- Junction box lead length
The calculator then helps determine whether available TS4 lead length options are suitable for the selected module layout.
