Resource Update: Tigo Access Point (TAP) Datasheet

We've updated the Tigo Access Point (TAP) Datasheet to make system design and installation even clearer for installers. The latest revision includes an improved system layout diagram, new guidance on TAP placement and communication distances, and easier access to detailed installation resources.

What's New?

1. Updated System Design Layout

The revised system diagram clearly identifies each system component and highlights that the communication cable between the Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) and TAP is not provided by Tigo, helping installers plan installations more effectively.

2. New Distance Limitations

This new section outlines recommended distance limits between the CCA, TAP, and TS4 devices, along with guidance on when additional TAPs may be required to maximize coverage and system performance.

3. Quick Access to Design Guidelines

A new QR code has been added to the datasheet, providing direct access to the TAP Placement and Layout Requirements support article for detailed installation recommendations and best practices.

These updates are designed to make it easier to design, install, and commission Tigo systems while ensuring proper TAP placement for reliable communication across the PV array. Download the latest TAP Datasheet to view the updated installation guidance and system design information.
