What does Standard Test Conditions mean?

Standard Test Conditions, or STC, are laboratory conditions used to rate and compare solar module power output.

What does STC mean on a solar module datasheet?

STC ratings are measured at 1000 W/m² irradiance, 25°C cell temperature, and an air mass of 1.5. Real rooftops are less polite than laboratories, so actual production changes with weather, temperature, orientation, and shading.

How it relates to Tigo

Tigo uses module STC ratings along with voltage and current limits to help installers select compatible MLPE and inverter equipment.
