What is PV system commissioning?

PV system commissioning is the process of verifying that a solar system is installed, configured, communicating, and operating as designed before it is handed over for normal operation.

Why does PV system commissioning matter in a solar project?

Commissioning catches wiring, configuration, communication, and performance issues while the installer is still on site. That is cheaper than discovering them later through an unhappy production graph.

How it relates to Tigo

In Tigo systems, commissioning often includes creating the system in the EI App or Portal, scanning equipment, running discovery, verifying TS4 communication, and confirming monitoring data.
