Job Description

Serve as a key technical member of the cross-functional team with the mission to create best Tigo energy products.  We aim to establish the Tigo ecosystem as the center and backbone of the DER.  The role is to own the integration between Tigo product and our growing number of partners and products worldwide., You will be involved through the entire development process from design, testing, qualification, and certification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the inverters, energy storage systems, EV chargers, and other systems used in the home energy system and able to operate and test the systems in our test facilities
  • Work closely with both hardware engineer and software engineering teams internally and externally with the partners to draft the integration design and serve as a point of the technical contact
  • Coordinate and manage the field testing, system qualification, and certification process
  • Manage integration and product pilot in person

Requirements

  • BS degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years’ professional hands-on experience with PV inverter, energy storage, or similar hardware product (testing and integration)
  • Project/Product Management experience a plus
  • Electrician experience/knowledge a plus
  • Comfortable working with PV and ESS in the field with high voltage systems (AC and DC).
  • Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, construction and product assemblies
  • Comfortable working with all communication protocols
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter and organized
