Job Description

We are Tigo Energy’s in-house product and system design experts. The Customer Success team enables Tigo’s worldwide growth by supporting partners and ensuring that existing customers are happy and successful.

Tigo’s Customer Success Team is looking for enthusiastic, thoughtful, and highly motivated problem solvers who are passionate about creating a green-glove customer experience while building lasting relationships with our customers. This position plays a crucial role in the overall customer experience the company offers.

The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing in-depth, pre-sales assistance to Tigo’s existing and prospective clients. The Sales Engineer is also responsible for large project management, from the very first design talks all the way down to site commissioning.

As part of the Sales Engineering team, you will work both as part of a larger support team and independently. The Sales Engineer also trains customers, participates in customer visits, trade shows, and roadshows.

Responsibilities

  • Passionate, Customer-Centric individual who can find solutions to any problem with a mindful approach and patient persistence
  • Develops a deep understanding of the Tigo Energy product line; this will set you up for success in supporting our customers and helping them navigate the conversation
  • Responsible for providing in-depth, pre-sales assistance to Tigo existing and prospective clients
  • Responsible for large project management, from the very first design talks to site commissioning
  • Participates in customer visits, trade shows and roadshows
  • Works effectively across various communication channels: phone, email, live chat, and online support systems
  • Collects and analyzes feedback after completing customer inquiries
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues to solve customer issues as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • Reports customer complaints and escalates issues when necessary to prevent potential churn

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in technical roles
  • Sharp technical skills
  • Strong Engineering background
  • A strong appetite for professional growth
  • Empathy and a strong ability to interact with clients, understand their needs and be their trusted advisor
  • Willingness to get to the very root of problems with much attention to details

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD

  • Previous experience with Solar
  • Previous experience in Pre-Sales Engineering
