Earn Annual Rewards for Supporting the JCP&L Grid

JCP&L Energy Savings Rewards compensates eligible battery owners for sending stored energy to the grid during demand-response events.

How the Program Works

Rewards are based on the battery's average power contribution during called events. Under the currently published rate, a system averaging 6 kW across events would earn about $360 for the program year.

What to Know

The system must have an approved JCP&L interconnection agreement.
The battery must remain online and connected to the internet.
Equipment must meet the program's current eligibility requirements.

Steps to enroll

Enrollment is easy and done entirely through the Tigo EI App or EI Portal

Confirm the Tigo system is installed, commissioned, connected to the internet, and approved for interconnection.
Open the Tigo EI App or EI Portal
Click Battery Incentive Programs from the systems dashboard section (under Today and Lifetime Metrics)
Select the available program, review the details, complete the enrollment form, and submit it for approval.
