Ava SmartHome Battery offers qualifying customers an installation rebate and five years of payments in exchange for making a selected share of battery capacity available for grid support.

How the Program Works
Customers select a 40%, 60%, or 80% shared-capacity level. The installation rebate and monthly payment are calculated on the shared portion of the battery.
What to Know
- The home must be served by Ava Community Energy and have solar.
- The battery must meet the program's equipment requirements and be available for grid services.
- Participation can affect eligibility to stack other battery or demand-response incentives.

Steps to enroll
Use the Battery Incentive Program Enrollment Guide to confirm eligibility and submit an enrollment request through the Tigo EI App or EI Portal.
- Confirm the Tigo system is installed, commissioned, connected to the internet, and approved for interconnection.
- Open Battery Incentive Programs in the Tigo EI App or EI Portal.
- Select the available program, review the details, complete the enrollment form, and submit it for approval.
Program availability, equipment eligibility, and final approval are determined by the utility or program administrator.
