Job Description

Tigo is growing rapidly, and is seeking motivated, experienced, and hungry Energy Storage Business Development Manager to join our diverse and eclectic team of MLPE and energy storage warriors.

The Energy Storage BDM will take the lead in growing the company’s Photovoltaic Energy Storage solution business in the EMEA market. The candidate will be instrumental in developing and reviewing the region “Go to market” Strategy and will identify, engage and manage the ongoing relationships with customers, channel partners in coordination with EMEA Sales team. He/She will promote the company’s brand and demonstrate superiority of product and solutions.

The candidate must be able to work in a team environment across the breadth of the functional business areas and across multiple time zones.

Locally and International travel will be a requirement with business trips taking up to 50% of your time. Responsible for developing and growing our market for Photovoltaic Energy Storage products in the UK and Scandinavia area, the BDM will engage in weekly reviews with manager and other stakeholders to review progress and discuss issues but will be largely self-managing.

Responsibilities

  • Through collaboration with the Salesteam, participate in the development, ongoing review and deployment of a go-to-marketstrategy for the Photovoltaic Energy Storage solutions in the UK andScandinavia area.
  • Engage with target customers/channelpartners, manage ongoing business relationships and help grow the salespipeline and identify valuable solutions.
  • Onboard target stakeholders oncompany’s brand and solutions and maintain ongoing strategic and tacticalrelationships.
  • In conjunction with Marketing,develop an ongoing marketing plan that delivers PV Energy Storage solutionvalue proposition to target decision makers/influencers in the region.
  • Participate in Trade Shows andseminars as a subject matter expert and spokesperson.
  • Spread the word, with passion, about Tigo’sRenewable Energy Storage Solution as well as the rest of its cutting edgeportfolio. Be the advocate of the company’s green culture and brand.
  • Provide customers with 1st linesupport on all enquires, during project proposal and deployment. Help them identifythe key selling points and benefits of company’s products and solutions.
  • Track projects and keep detailscurrent to support monthly management reporting requirements.
  • Help grow sales revenues and achievebudgeted sales revenue and GM targets.
  • Understand the supporting andcontribution to the Company’s guiding principles, mental models and innovative culture.

Requirements

  • A degree in Business and/or a NetworkEngineering related field.
  • 5 years plus experience in the RenewableEnergy industry, with a proven track record.
  • Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills that demonstrate the ability to convey information to adiverse cultural audience, clearly and concisely.
  • A leader with strong interpersonaland networking skills.
  • Organized Self-starter.
  • Ability to contribute to strategydevelopment and understand / implement tactical plans in support of it.
