Job Description

As a Tigo Sales Engineer, you will help clients realize the full potential of Tigo offerings through accelerated adoption and productive use of Tigo’s software and services. Your customer relationship and problem-solving abilities will earn the trust of customers and co-workers alike as you engage, educate, excite, and empower those around you. More specifically as a Tigo Sales Engineer you will:

  • Provide technical training sessions, webinars, and presentations regarding the design, installation and commission of Tigo products to PV module partners, solar distributors, system designers and PV installers.
  • Work closely with the sales team in order to grow client relationships by representing the technical aspects of Tigo products and services.
  • Travel nationally and internationally to provide in-person training and support to our growing customer base throughout EMEA.
  • Create and update Tigo training materials and online resources with current equipment and processes.
  • Maintain an elite level of product knowledge in the Tigo system, hardware and software products.
  • Continuously learn through others, self-educate, share specialized knowledge and expertly demonstrate and present Tigo’s newest solutions.
  • Manage large Solar projects equipped with Tigo solutions, be the owner of Tigo’s involvement in the project.
  • Deliver Pre-Sales assistance to clients all over EMEA.

Responsibilities

Objective:

Making sure customers place orders with Tigo by satisfying to perfection all their technical needs and making sure that their experience with our products is perfect throughout their lifetime.

How?

Pre-sale: understand customer needs, offer solutions, help with product selection. Fight off competition!

After-sale and down to plant commissioning: use SFDC to learn of opportunities at stage 6 and proactively reach out to the sales rep on contacting the client to train their techs for a successful configuration, installation and commissioning.

All along: provide feedback to Product Management, Technical Support and Marketing for product & collateral enhancement based on customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Conversational spoken and written English Language
  • German/Italian/Spanish/French/Polish fluency a plus
  • Willingness to relocate to Tigo’s EMEA headquarters in Florence, Italy
