Job Description

Tigo Energy is looking for an experienced electrician or associate electrician to work with our top engineers at our R&D facility in Campbell, CA.

Tigo builds hardware and software intelligence into solar energy installations, making them more efficient, more manageable, and safer. By maximizing the energy output of each individual module, Tigo’s advanced balance of system products deliver lower cost of ownership and faster return on investment for existing and new solar installations.


  • Responsible for compatibility testing with Inverters and our Optimizers/RSD
  • Responsible of installing Optimizers/RSD units and PV inverters on test sites.
  • Maintenance of low to medium voltage power supplies and associated equipment.
  • Assembly and testing of high-power test setups.


  • Electrician or Associate Electrician.
  • Experience with R&D lab environments.
  • Experience with PV modules, PV inverters is a plus.
  • 3 years of related electronics technical experience that includes thorough knowledge of electronic test equipment and procedures, wiring, soldering, and following test plans.
