Zvi Alon is the CEO and Chairman of Tigo Energy. Zvi has is a successful high tech executive based in the Silicon Valley with extensive (30 years) international business experience. He has served as Chairman, CEO and President in a number of companies. He has founded several companies 2 of which made the public market — IPO — NetManage in the US; and NetVision in Israel.
Actively involved in several investment activities in High Tech, Clean Tech, Real Estate as well as a limited partner/advisor to various Venture Capital Groups. Most of his investment activities have been focused in the US, Israel and China with worldwide customers.
Zvi Alon is the Founder and Chairman of the California Israel Chamber of Commerce — CICC. The CICC — is a not-for-profit, non-governmental membership supported organization dedicated to strengthening business and trade relations between California and Israel. The CICC is serving its +5,000 companies, business executives and investors members by proactive support for joint venture programs between the two communities. Zvi Alon is also a founder of the California Israel Angels — CIA. The CIA investment focus is driven by opportunities that combine activities in both California and Israel.
Zvi Alon serves as a Vice Chairman for one of the leading universities in Israel — Ben Gurion University, known for advance research in Green Technology, Desertification, Clean Energy, Medical and advance Nano Technology. Alon donated and dedicated a research building for advance studies at the university. Zvi Alon is also well known for his philanthropic efforts in the Bay Area, California and in Israel. In 1995 he established The Alon Family Foundation for the purpose of directing energies and resources toward improving the quality of life through charitable organizations. Specifically, contributions have been made in the fields of education, medicine and social services.
