This is the only industry event that allows NABCEP Board Certified Professionals to obtain as many as 20.5 hours of continuing education units needed to recertify. PV Associates can obtain 12 continuing education units needed to renew.
Noncertified renewable energy professionals seeking to advance their career can earn up to 18 hours towards becoming NABCEP Board Certified by attending the CE Conference.

Abstract:
When installing module-level power electronics (MLPE), the electrical issue of crosstalk is a common phenomenon that may occur. If not accounted for, crosstalk can cause the PV system to shut down or components to fail, leading to unhappy clients and costly re-wiring service calls. This 1-hour session explains this technical issue in simple terms and presents ways to prevent it on MLPE installations. Longtime industry educator and Mayfield Renewables CEO Ryan Mayfield joins Director of Technical Training at Tigo Energy, Greg Smith, to help PV system designers, project managers, and installers understand how to avoid Crosstalk through optimized system design.
